At Kaerbygaard , we make exclusive wine racks that can be customized for your home. We offer built-in wine racks that are individually customized to where you want to store your wine collection.
Many mistakenly believe that wine racks are only suitable for large cellars, where wine racks can be mounted on several walls from floor to ceiling. Fortunately, this is not the case – and few people have such a basement available in their home.
You decide
Wine racks can be built anywhere and the size can be customized according to space and needs. If you have a small niche or an unused corner in your living room, kitchen or family room, you will be surprised at what our competent and experienced professionals can do – even in a place where you may not have seen the possibilities yourself.
We come to your home to carry out the necessary survey – and hear about your wishes and needs. We will then guide you so that you are thoroughly informed about the possibilities that can be made at your home. This allows you to make the right decisions regarding wood and – not least – which design will fit naturally with the surroundings in which the wine rack should be in.
The process: from wood to wine rack
The course starts by us going out into the forest and choosing the most promising trees. Then the selected elms, oaks or walnut trees are felled, and before they become a wine rack, they are driven through a thorough drying process – first outside, then in the drying oven. This process is carried out to ensure that the tree does not split when it acclimatizes to your home.
Startup
Once we have agreed on the solution that suits you, our skilled joiners will start constructing the wine rack at our carpentry workshop. We are in dialogue with you throughout the process – and you are of course welcome to visit our workshop and follow how the work is progressing.
Bring the cosiness inside
A wine rack is cozy – it provides a good atmosphere wherever it is located. Especially inspiring is having the wine rack in the immediate vicinity of the place where the food is to be consumed – or as a source of inspiration during cooking, which is why a location in the kitchen/family room is also perfect. If this is not possible in terms of space, a free space in an aisle or a utility room can be optimally utilized with an exclusive built-in wine rack.
