What is the difference between carpentry-made and mass-produced kitchen countertops?

There are a lot of differences, the primary difference is probably YOU. You are a co-designer on a carpentry kitchen countertop, whereas the mass-produced countertops are as they are from the factory. In addition, the quality can also be significantly higher when it comes from a joiner.

Which type of wood should you choose your kitchen countertop in?

Kaerbygaard Kitchen worktops can be made from almost any type of wood. However, there is a big difference in the look of the wood, durability and colors. We recommend choosing either oak, walnut or elm wood, as they are hardy and can have a refined look that will last for generations.
