Payment

Kaerbygaard accepts payment with Dankort/VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Debit and Mastercard. This is also supported by Apple Pay, Google Pay and MobilePay. Payment will only be debited from your account when the product is shipped*, however, different rules apply for made-to-order and customized products, which are manufactured to the measurements and wishes of the individual customer.

All amounts are in DKK. Danish kroner and is incl. VAT.

Kaerbygaard uses an approved payment server that encrypts all your card details with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that your information cannot be read.

*Depositum order produced specifically for each customer*

For goods to be put into in-house production after the order is specified, we typically charge a deposit. This deposit represents a total part of the order and will not be refunded in case of cancellation, or other contractual breaches.

At the start of production, the deposit is deducted from the customer's account.
Regardless of whether the deposit is paid in the webshop or in one of our showrooms, the same rules apply.

Delivery

Kaerbygaard delivers on all weekdays, by carrier or own carrier.
It is possible for Kaerbygaard to personally deliver furniture and assemble it for the customer.

If desired, the customer can also pick up the furniture at Kærbygård's address near Odense. Collection must take place during normal opening hours or by appointment. An order is ready for collection on the date stated on the order confirmation. The order must be collected within five working days of this date. If an order is not picked up within five business days, the product will be returned to stock and a fee of 15% will be charged to the buyer.

During ordering, the customer can choose how the items are to be delivered.

The delivery costs are automatically calculated in the payment module of Kærbygårds webshop.

Kaerbygaard strives to deliver the product within 1-3 business days after completion of manufacturing.

Kaerbygaard reserves the right to cancel and refuse an order if we consider it to have been made in bad faith or with intent to circumvent our systems, prices and products. In addition, we take into account misprints and reserve the right not to sell an item that is listed with incorrect pricing.

Right of complaint

There is a 2-year warranty in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Our warranty applies to defects in material and/or workmanship. In the event of minor damage, it is possible for a representative from Kaerbygaard Plankeborde to come and repair the damage at the customer's premises.

The complaint does not apply to errors or damage caused by improper operation of the product.

Wood is an organic material and will therefore be affected by its circumstances. Kaerbygaard will oil and kiln-dry the wood so that the impact of the outside world is minimal. However, it is the buyer's responsibility to maintain the wood. The right of complaint therefore does not apply to impact or damage caused by changes in temperature and humidity.

If the item is to be returned, Kaerbygaard will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.

Packages sent on C.O.D. are not received.

Refund

If a refund has been agreed, please send your bank details so that we can transfer the agreed amount.
Refunds of your payment are typically made within 1-7 business days, and no later than 30 days after your item has been received, in accordance with section 12c of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. If you have not received your money back within 14 days, it will typically be an error, and you should therefore contact Kaerbygaard Plankeborde.

Right of withdrawal

There is a 14-day full return policy on goods purchased in our webshop. The period starts from the day you receive the order. For special orders made specifically for the customer, the right of withdrawal does not apply. 

Return costs must be borne by you.

Withdrawal must be reported to us within 14 days of purchase and from the withdrawal you must return the shipment within 14 days of the shipment.

The message must be given by email on info@kaerbygaard.com. In the notice, please make it clear to us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. You can also choose to use our standard withdrawal form and send back. You will find it here undo form

The condition of the item

When the product is handed over to the buyer, the buyer is responsible for any damage or impairment of value due to accidental circumstances.
The buyer is liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods due to handling other than that necessary to determine the characteristics of the goods.

If the item is used in addition to what is described above, we consider it used, which means that upon cancellation of the purchase you will only get a part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item.

Canceled Order

Orders authorized and accepted by Kaerbygaard are firm commitments and are not subject to cancellation without the consent of Kaerbygaard. If cancellation is approved, a minimum of 10% and up to the full purchase price of the product may be charged to cover used material and fabrication costs, special design costs and testing, handling and accounting costs.

Delays and shortcomings

Kaerbygaard will not be held liable for any delays or defects resulting from events beyond Kærbygård's control, including disasters, war, riots, IT breakdowns, civil unrest, extreme weather conditions, brand, government intervention, seizure, currency restrictions, infrastructure closures or damage, labor disputes of any kind, including strikes and lockouts, or the like.
